Meagan Milatz, pianist, is winner of the 2025-2028 Mécénat Musica Prix Goyer and the 2024 Prix Opus Discovery of the Year. She is “a remarkable pianist with a seemingly limitless palette of expression” (Le Devoir). Meagan regularly shares the stage with top international musicians including Andrew Wan, concertmaster of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra; Stefan Dohr, Principal Horn of the Berlin Philharmonic; Kai Gleusteen, concertmaster of the Orchestra del Gran Teatre del Liceu of Barcelona, cellist Matt Haimovitz; and mandolinist Avi Avital. 

As a soloist, Meagan has appeared with orchestras across Canada including Edmonton, Regina, Sherbrooke, and Saskatoon and will be featured with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra in April 2027 in Mozart’s Triple Piano Concerto alongside Charles Richard-Hamelin and Kevin Chen. She has performed in concert across France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Scotland, China, and Malta with cellist Cameron Crozman and was the first Canadian to be featured in recital at the New Ross Piano Festival of Ireland in 2023. Previously, Meagan undertook a 50-concert tour across Canada with violinist Amy Hillis (meagan&amy) as winners of the first-ever pan-Canadian tour presented jointly by Jeunesses Musicales Canada, Debut Atlantic, and Prairie Debut.

Meagan has a deep passion for fortepianos and recently recorded a solo album in Belgium on an 1835 Conrad Graf fortepiano from the Chris Maene Museum Collection centred on Schumann’s Kreisleriana, to be released by ATMA Classique in October 2026.
